LORRAINE NING

Chicago-based visual artist.

Lorraine Ning was born and raised in Xi’an, China. She received a Master degree in Fine Arts in Photography from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor degree of Arts in Photography from Xi’an University.

She is a member of the Society for Photographic Education, she was a photographer of the Texas Fashion Collection. Her works have been exhibited in many places including the United States, China, and Europe. Works form includes photography, new media, installation, and ceramics. The theme focuses on the exploration of memory and the reflection on the mental and emotional state of the contemporary young generation.
